| Atsugi to Exhibit Its Photocatalyst-based Antibacterial Deodorant Pantyhoses at Photo Catalyst 2005 |

Tokyo, May 17, 2005 (JCN) - Atsugi (TSE: 3529), a Japanese fabric manufacturer known for its nylon stockings, announced on May 13 that it will set up a booth at Photo Catalyst 2005 to be held in Nagoya from May 20 to 22. The main feature will be the MIRACARAT Photocatalyst Series, its new lineup of pantyhoses, inner wears and socks.
The new series, which uses photocatalytic technology, keeps antibacterial and deodorant effects by simply being exposed to light.
The MIRACARAT Photocatalyst Pantyhoses is the first photocatalyst-based closing item that has been certified by the Society of Industrial Technology for Photocatalytic Articles (SITPA).
