Tokyo, June 8, 2005 (JCN) - Sogo Clinical Pharmacology announced on June 7 that it has reached a basic agreement with SRL and Japan Clinical Pharmacology Laboratories (JCPL), SRL's wholly owned subsidiary, to acquire JCPL as a subsidiary.
New JCPL shares will be allocated to Sogo from July 1 to August 31, and Sogo will own a 51% stake in JCPL.
JCPL has a record in clinical trial support services including pharmacological trials as well as site management organization operations.
Through this transfer, Sogo aims to strengthen its foothold as a site management organization.
