Tokyo, Aug 29, 2005 (JCN) - Tokiwa Pharmaceutical, a NOEVIR group company, announced on August 29 the results of its recent research on amino acids.
The research results show that a combination of three amino acids, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), theanine, and L-tryptophan, helps improve the quality of sleep and life of people who regularly feel stressed.
Details of the finding will be presented at the 52nd Meeting of the Japanese Society of Food Science and Technology to be held at Hokkaido University from August 29 to 31.
Further, based on this discovery, Tokiwa plans to introduce a new product this fall.
