Tokyo, Jan 27, 2006 (JCN) - SS Pharmaceutical announced on January 26 that it will begin distributing over-the-counter drug BEARBERIX through pharmacies and drugs stores nationwide on February 1.
The new product, which contains an extract of bearberry leaves as an active ingredient, helps alleviate urinary symptoms such as discomfort when urinating and a constant urge to urinate.
This granule drug can be taken by dissolving it in water. One unit containing 30 packs is available at 3,150 yen ($27). The company aims to achieve 200 million yen ($1.7 mil) in sales in the first year.
