Tokyo, Sept 27, 2006 (JCN) - Mobile Television Inc. (M TV) today announced its release of WatchaPRO, software offering real time traffic information that was initially designed for mobile phones. M TV has redesigned it for online use.
Airport Limousine, a bus company offering 1200 daily shuttle buses to Narita and Haneda airports, was the first corporation to implement this software in Japan for smoother bus service.
By installing WatchaPRO, users will have access to real-time traffic information from 27 cameras set up around the Kanto area. For Airport Limousine, this lead to improved management and supervision on the bus courses.
So far there are 51 cameras set up in the Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka areas. M TV is determined to set up a total of 200 cameras nationwide. Going forward, M TV will continue to offer its service in the transportation service industry. http://m-tv.jp/
