ANA Expands Domestic and Interline e-Ticketing - 57 Routes in Japan & 23 Interline Partners Worldwide

Tokyo, Oct 31, 2006 - (JCN Newswire) - From today, ANA customers can travel using e-tickets on 57 routes joining 15 airport destinations in Japan, making domestic travel more convenient and simple. This also means that passengers connecting from ANA and partner airline international flights will have a greater choice of domestic destinations using just a single e-ticket.

Until now, e-tickets had only been available on 21 domestic routes, and by spring next year, all ANA domestic flights with international connections will be available for e-ticketing.

In a further move, from early November the number of airline partners on which ANA customers can use e-tickets will increase from the current 19 to 22, when interline e-ticketing goes on-line with fellow Star Alliance member carriers Scandinavian Airlines and Spanair, and regional member Blue One. Similarly, interline e-ticketing will also be rolled out with fellow Star Alliance member carrier South African Airways later in the same month, taking the total to 23.

On October 11 this year, ANA also became the first Japanese airline to offer e-ticketing for children on international flights, allowing families to take advantage of the simplicity and convenience it offers when travelling abroad.

Until the end of March next year, ANA Mileage Club members using ANA international e-tickets and Smart e-Service will be awarded up to 700 bonus miles. Details are available on ANA Sky Web: www.ana.co.jp/eng/int/
