Singapore, Apr 16, 2009 - (ACN Newswire) - Entries for the 3rd Annual Asian Multimedia Publishing Awards are now being accepted, with the deadline for submission set on May 22, 2009. Incorporated into the competition are the Asian Multimedia Publishing Awards (AMPA), the Asian Book Publishing Awards, and the Asian Corporate Communications Awards. The awards will be given in a gala dinner during the Asian Publishing Convention (APC) to be held on July 17, 2009 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Manila.
Multimedia publishers in print, mobile and online media and corporate communications professionals may submit their outstanding projects or programs based on specific categories. For AMPA, entries may involve works on multimedia consumer research, multimedia communication, use of digital technology, multimedia strategy and business model, and multimedia advertising delivery.
Entries for the Asian Book Publishing Awards will be judged based on any of the two categories: best use of multimedia marketing by a book publisher, and best book/best writer on Asian media. The Asian Corporate Communications Awards categories include best use of multimedia by a corporate advertiser, and innovative corporate communications in a multimedia world.
APC and the Awards, described as the learning and networking event for publishing professionals in Asia, is presented by a host of regional and national associations: the ASEAN Book Publishers Association (ABPA), Asia Digital Marketing Association (ADMA), Asian Media Information & Communication Centre (AMIC), Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA), Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP), Magazine Business Association of Taipei (MBAT), Magazine Publishers Association of Malaysia (MPA), Magazine Publishers Association of Singapore (MPAS), National Book Development Board (NBDB), National Book Development Council of Singapore (NBDCS), Publishers Association of the Philippines, Inc.
