Tokyo, July 3, 2009 - (JCN Newswire) - TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announces it will hold a large test-drive event?part of its "Drive Kingdom" series?in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture on August 1 and 2.
TMC's Drive Kingdom series, in which four events have been held since December 2007, is intended to promote greater interest in automobiles by giving people of all ages a unique opportunity to experience first-hand the fascination and fun that automobiles offer. So far, approximately 50,000 people have participated in the events.
The Kanazawa event will enable participants to experience environmentally considerate driving through test drives of the recently released third-generation Prius on public roads?the first time for Drive Kingdom. The event will also feature exhibits and test drives of 90 Toyota and Lexus vehicles, rides with professional race drivers and events for children such as classes and games to stimulate interest in automobiles. Admission to the event will be free.
