Tokyo, July 16, 2009 - (JCN Newswire) - NEC Corporation announced its transition to a new organizational structure effective as of April 1, 2009 that will enable the company to overcome the current worldwide economic crisis and reinforce the company's competitive strengths in preparation for post-recession market conditions. The streamlining of NEC's structure and reform of company operations is being carried out in order to strengthen company earnings through rejuvenated sales and marketing of new services and products. As part of this organizational reform, NEC's business segments will be revised from July 30, 2009, with its announcement of consolidated financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2010.
