Tokyo, Mar 14, 2012 (JCN) - NTT DOCOMO INC. has secured 5,294,668 shares worth 4,980 million yen (about $62 million) of Radishbo-ya Co. Ltd, a premium home-delivery service provider offering organic and preservative-free foods. This is equivalent to 75.74 percent of the total number of shares issued by Radishbo-ya.
DOCOMO offered to acquire all shares tendered during the tender offer period from January 31 to March 12, 2012 on the condition that it could acquire a minimum 3,706,600 shares. Meeting this condition, DOCOMO will acquire all the shares tendered. Settlement of the tender offer will commence on March 19, wherein Radishbo-ya will become a consolidated subsidiary of DOCOMO.
