| NEC Viewtechnology Offers Compact DLP Projector |
|
|
|
Tokyo, Sept 30, 2003 (JCN) - Scheduled to hit the market October 1, the View Light LT170 is the NEC's (TSE: 6701) latest compact Digital Light Processing (DLP) projector measuring 123 x 85 x 280mm.
The 1.8kg portable unit offers a brightness of 1,500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, and a maximum display resolution of U-XGA (1,600x1,200dpi) with Advanced AccuBlend technology.
The product supports up to 16.77 million colors, and its images can be projected up to 200 inches in size. The system is priced at 465,000 yen ($4,152).
The company plans to sell a total of 30,000 units annually both at home and overseas.
