FANCL Announces Research Results of Antiaging Material Silybin at IFSCC International Conference 2005
Tokyo, Oct 5, 2005 (JCN) - Japanese cosmetic manufacturer FANCL announced on September 29 that it has presented research results of silybin, an extract derived from milk thistle seeds, at the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetics Chemists (IFSCC) International Conference 2005 held in Italy, from September 19 to 21.
The company's Central Research Laboratory made presentations under the title "Anti-aging effect of silybin, a flavonoid isolated from Silybum marianum".
Specifically, the presentations cited that silybin has properties to improve and suppress wrinkles, inhibit the skin aging and improve the photoaged skin.
