| NGK Insulators to Make Diesel Particulate Filters in Mexico |

Tokyo, Nov 27, 2007 (Jiji Press) - Japan's NGK Insulators Ltd. <5333> said Tuesday it will build a plant for diesel particulate filters in a suburb of Monterrey, northern Mexico.
The company will invest more than 4 billion yen in the plant and plans to launch production in September 2009.
Demand for DPFs, which eliminate graphite particles from the exhaust fumes of diesel engine vehicles, is expected to grow after the United Sates tightens its emissions regulations in 2010 or later.
NGK Insulators is expected to sell most of its DPFs to major U.S. automakers
