Tokyo, Dec 6, 2011 (JCN) - ITOCHU Corp. has opened the "Saigon Sky Garden store", the first store operated by VI NA FamilyMart Company Limited, which is headquartered in Ho-Chi-Minh City, Vietnam. VI NA FM was licensed in Ho Chi Minh City in June this year and is a joint venture between ITOCHU, FamilyMart Co. Ltd and Phu Thai Group Joint Stock Company.
The Saigon Sky Garden store will be the 14th FamilyMart store in Vietnam since the opening of the first one in December 2009. The other 13 FamilyMart stores in Vietnam are being operated by Family Company Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Phu Thai. In the future, they will be operated by both VI NA FM and Family Company Limited.
