Tokyo, Dec 16, 2004 (JCN) - Fujirebio (TSE: 4544) has announced plans to integrate is business with SRL (TSE: 9700) into a holding company structure. The plans will take effect by July 1, 2005.
The new structure will enable the creation of a new, vertically integrated business model for medicine, health and life science businesses, including clinical diagnostics.
Fujirebio will split its entire business into a newly established company and the splitting company (Fujirebio), which will become a holding company to oversee both the new company and SRL.
