Tokyo, Apr 12, 2012 - (JCN Newswire) - JCB, the only international payment brand based in Japan, is pleased to announce that free WiFi service will be made available at JCB Plaza Lounge located in ten popular destination cities around the world. JCB Plaza Lounge offer JCB cardmembers traveling away from home a place to relax and enjoy free beverages, massage chairs and other amenities in addition to the basic customer services offered at the 61 JCB Plaza worldwide, including sightseeing information, hotel, restaurant and tour reservations as well as emergency support. Starting 13 April, free WiFi service will be available for JCB cardmembers, as well as family and friends traveling with them, at JCB Plaza Lounge in Guam, Seoul, Taipei and Tokyo, to be followed by Singapore, Hong Kong, Paris, Los Angeles, Honolulu and Bangkok over the next few weeks.

More and more JCB cardmembers in Japan, especially the younger generation, want to use their smartphones or other portable devices to access the internet while they are traveling. Now they can enjoy free WiFi at JCB Plaza Lounge around the world while they take a break from sightseeing or shopping.

JCB first established the worldwide JCB Plaza network of customer service centers in 1990 to give JCB cardmembers more fun and peace-of-mind when traveling abroad. In 2009 the network was expanded to 61 locations, including 10 JCB Plaza Lounge in top destination cities offering a comfortable place to relax in addition to JCB's unique travel services. Starting with the JCB Mobile, free mobile phone rental at Narita/ Haneda airport in October 2010, JCB has been working to provide more telecommunications services to JCB international cardmembers traveling to Japan. JCB will continue to work hard to increase customer satisfaction with our services for all cardmembers.

- Free WiFi access available in Guam, Seoul, Taipei and Tokyo from 13 April 2012. In Singapore, Hong Kong, Paris, Los Angeles, Honolulu and Bangkok around the beginning of May. Dates will be announced on the JCB website.

- JCB cardmembers along with family and friends traveling together with them can use the service. Show Lounge staff your JCB card and they will give you an ID and password.

- Other services available at JCB Plaza Lounge include free printing, Japanese-language newspapers and magazines, local guide books and tourist magazines, free beverages, massage chairs and same-day baggage check (Restrictions apply)
