The technology will be sub-licensed by Foster Wheeler to Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. for Complexo Gas-Quimico UFN-IV, a world-scale grassroots gas-to-chemicals complex in Linhares, Espirito Santo State, in southeast Brazil.
Chiyoda will provide the Process Design Package (PDP), technical assistance and training services during the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) phase until successful completion of the process performance tests.
The Complexo Gas-Quimico UFN-IV complex is planned to produce ammonia and urea fertilizers, methanol, acetic acid, formic acid and melamine. Foster Wheeler will work as Integrator to the project.
