Tokyo, Apr 23, 2014 - (JCN Newswire) - 1. Domestic Production

(1) March 2014

Mazda's total production volume in March 2014 increased 0.4% compared to March 2013 due to increased production of commercial vehicles.

Domestic production of key models in March 2014
CX-5:            27,961 units (up 10.6% year-on-year) 
Mazda3 (Axela):  26,804 units (up 16.4% year-on-year) 
Mazda6 (Atenza): 10,560 units (down 12.7% year-on-year) 
(2) April 2013 through March 2014

Mazda's domestic production volume in the period from April 2013 through March 2014 increased 10.6% year-on-year due to increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

CX-5:            308,720 units (up 36.2% year-on-year) 
Mazda3 (Axela):  291,414 units (up 0.1% year-on-year) 
Mazda6 (Atenza): 143,162 units (up 62.7% year-on-year) 
2. Overseas Production

(1) March 2014

Mazda's overseas production volume in March 2014 decreased 8.6% compared to March 2013, reflecting decreased production of commercial vehicles.

Mazda3:  7,722 units (up 1.3 year-on-year) 
Mazda6:  7,613 units (down 21.7% year-on-year) 
CX-5:    5,987 units

Mazda's total overseas production volume in the period from April 2013 through March 2014 decreased 7.5% year-on-year, due to decreased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

BT-50:   66,228 units (down 20.8% year-on-year) 
Mazda3:  43,764 units (down 30.7% year-on-year)
